Charter Information

TRIP INFORMATION

Charter rates for 2012 are:
1 to 4 Anglers
4 hours:    $370
8 hours:    $495
Any extra hours will be billed at a rate of $55 per hour.

A deposit  of $75 is required to reserve your day. 

Remaining balances are due at the dock at the conclusion of your charter. All balances are payable by cash or check.

Cancelation of your charter due to weather or any other reason will be at the discretion of the Captain. If your charter is cancelled, you will recieve a full refund of any deposits made or you will have the option of re-booking at a later date. All cancelations by anglers must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled charter date and time.

Your safety is our priority!
 
We can accomodate a 5th angler under certain circumstances, 6 hour charters, or charters of other durations must be mutually agreed upon by both the captain and your party.

Gift certificates are available for any dollar ammount.

All rods, reels and equipment are provided.

We normally leave the dock at 6:45 a.m. But we are flexible other departure time can be arranged.

Why Book A Charter?
You can book a charter for a fraction of the cost of owning and maintaining your own boat and equipment. Fishing with an experienced captain and crew, who are on the water on a regular basis, allows you to fish with the latest equipment and techniques, on a boat equipped with all the up to date safety equipment allows you to relax catch fish and have fun.

How Do I Book A Charter?
Booking a charter is easy. Pick out a date which you would like to go fishing, it might be adviseable to pick an alternative date as well. Contact me to check date(s) via phone, or email, to set it up.

What Do I Need To Bring With Me?
For your charter you will need:

• A valid New York State Fishing License. Licenses are available for purchase at Chadwick Bay Marina, or online at the New York State DEC website (www.dec.ny.gov).
• Food and beverages of your choice (please limit your group to 1 cooler 54 quart maximum). Please no glass bottles.
• Seasickness medication if needed. Please remember to take it early enough to start working before charter.
• Soft soled shoes or sneakers.
• Sunblock/sunglasses.
• Camera or video camera.
• Appropriate clothing including hat/raingear. Always be prepared for changing weather. Our boat has plenty of shade/shelter but, you will be landing fish in the rear of the boat which open.
• Cooler to transport your catch home.
• If you have a particular music preference, bring your ipod or cd along. We would be glad to play it on our stereo.

Dunkirk is located between Buffalo, NY and Erie Pa. approximately 40 miles from both cities.

Directions to Dunkirk and The Chadwick Bay Marina from the East/West:
Take the NYS Thruway (I-90) to the Dunkirk/Fredonia Exit 59. After passing through the tolls, turn right at the light on to NYS Route 60-North for approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto NYS Route 5-West for approximately 100 yards. Immediately past Tim Horton's turn right and head toward the lake and marina. You will find ample parking in the grass parking lot. Next to the Clarion Hotel. The Chadwick Bay Marina is directly behind the hotel.  

For overnight accomodations, the Clarion Hotel is located adjacent to our marina, there are several other choices that I would be happy to suggest if needed. The Dunkirk/Fredonia area also has many
fanatstic choices for food and beverage, let us know, we would also be happy to make some reccomendations for you.
